This article provides information about the new Massachusetts health insurance law requiring all residents to have health insurance and the low-cost alternatives being offered to Massachusetts residents who were previously uninsured. The article also provides answers to frequently asked questions, such as if prescription drug coverage is required, where to get help covering children, and what special plans there are for young adults (age 19 to 26). This is a very valuable article to read, especially for the uninsured, those in the process of finding the right health plan, and students, especially those new to Massachusetts.
