Hey, are you ready to celebrate National Punctuation Day? You may be asking who needs to rejoice over this special day. Well, besides everybody, the people with most cause to celebrate are clearly the students of the more literary fields such as English, Modern Languages and Literatures, and Children’s Literature. Or perhaps those with plans for entering the writing or publishing industry also want to take notice. However you qualify, I have the perfect way to honor this day set aside for periods, semicolons, hyphens, and question marks.
Head on over to the Career Resource Library (P304E) for the latest information on these exciting careers in the literary, writing, and publishing fields:
Career Resources for Children’s Literature, for English and Publishing, and Career Resources for Modern Languages
Sample Book from the Liberal Arts Section:
I’m an English major—now what?: How English majors can find happiness, success, and a real job by Tim Lemire.
Sample Book from the Publishing/Writing Section:
Career opportunities in the publishing industry by Fred Yager & Jan Yager
I hope that these career resources will inspire you with regards to these very inspiring career paths. Happy writing and all the best!
