In special honor of Black History Month, the Career Resource Library is highlighting some African American career resources!

FEATURED ARTICLE

The following article, ‘Black Students Wanted for Careers in Finance’, talks about the Robert Toigo Foundation. Originally, set up in the 1980’s, this organization was founded with the intent to change the ‘face’ of the financial industry. Its current approach is social networking through Facebook, where aspiring and established professionals can connect for mentoring, support, tip-sharing, etc. regarding careers in business administration, and finance. By becoming a member of this online community, you will also find out and be potentially eligible for the many fellowship and scholarship opportunities. Also featured are prep tools, MBA application guidelines, and contests.

This article is from The Black Collegian Online, written by Malik Russell, January 05, 2009.
