Looking to release the adventurer in you? An international career might just be for you.
Alumni and Dix Scholars: take a look at International Employment Hotline, a monthly newsletter with pages and pages of job postings with companies (and organizations) particularly active in the international arena.
Among the more prominent employers are the United Nations and World Health Organization, and positions are available on almost all the continents. For those that would like to test the waters first, there are numerous positions in internationally-oriented companies in US. The great majority of the postings are directed at mid-level professionals, with some advertisements for executive level and some entry-level positions (especially internships).
There is also a companion website; however, in order to see the postings you will have to register (and pay) - so why not come into the library- in P304E in the Palace Road building? There are even more resources that we can show you!
If your curiosity has been stirred, check out the International Work Career Guide from the CRL eLibrary.
