Have you been wondering when National Nutrition Month was going to arrive? Well, it’s here; March is the month that’s dedicated to vitamins, minerals, calories, and essential fatty acids. Now, are you also wondering why the people at the Career Resource Library are keeping tabs on such a month? We, at the CRL are very interested in NNM for 2 reasons:

First, there is a well-established connection between a healthy appearance and job offers. That’s right, all things being equal, the job candidate who looks to have more energy will usually get the position. J.D Roth writes about this phenomenon in the blog, Get Rich Slowly.

Therefore, for your career’s sake as well as for your health and well-being, we would like to stress the importance of exercise and good nutrition.

The second reason we’re choosing to focus on National Nutrition Month is that we know there are some among you who are future Nutritionists, Nutrition Scientists, Dieticians, etc. And for this reason, we keep a well-stocked pantry (I mean library) with regards to nutrition career resources.

Nutrition section of our elibrary: The Nutrition Career Guide is part of our eLibrary, where you will find descriptive career information, job boards, professional associations, and more, all to do with nutrition.

Nutrition Career Book Recommendation:
