The Boston Globe has just published their top 100 list of publicly held companies in Massachusetts. See which companies are thriving, based on composite performance scores, factoring in things like return on average equity and 2008 revenue.
This article links to other informative charts such as, ‘Largest profits’. (State Street Corp. wins with $1,789 million). Also, there is the ‘Sales 50’ chart, and ‘Massachusetts-based employers’, where the companies with the largest numbers of employees are listed!
If you want to be even more in the know with regard to company profiles and business trends, we’ve got lots of online resources as well as business books here at the CRL. For starters, take a glance at our ‘Company and Industry Research’ Career Guide.
