Do you ever get the sense that there is a whole world out there of companies, institutes, associations, etc. that might be involved in exactly what you’re interested in? But you don’t know what they are called, or where they are located. Well, as a Simmons student or alum, you have access to a terrific resource, CareerSearch!

The CareerSearch database has incredible searching power and allows you to generate lists of these places according to your own specific criteria. You can choose locations anywhere from sub-regions of states to other countries of the world. Choose from a large list of specific industries or submit keywords to find out what organizations and companies exist in the fields that you’re interested in. Your search results will leave you with important contact information and descriptions of the places that fit your search criteria.

How do you access this amazing database? Well, you can get to it either through the Career Resource Library’s drop-down menu of Career eResources or the Beatley Library’s A-Z list of eResources. Check it right now! CareerSearch. For help in accessing or using CareerSearch, get in touch with us at the CRL.

The Career Resource Library is located at One Palace Road, Room P304E. For Reference Appointments, give us a call at 617-521-2515, or email us as crl@simmons.edu.
