The Next Generations’ Future Work World

In the not-too-distant future, most of the work world is going to be comprised of Generation Xers (born between 1961 and 1980) and Generation Yers (born between 1980 and the early 1990s). It is anticipated that the next employment models are going to be very different than those that have been in place for decades. Well, we already see changes happening, don’t we? For example, do you know many people with a pension plan? Further down the road, it is expected that the landscape of the working world is going to change even more, with different skills valued and different ways of working.
Alexandra Levit, a Wall Street Journal columnist, attempts to paint a picture of what this new employment world will look like, she also thinks that there is a competitive benefit to keeping an eye to this future.
