The Park Science Center opened in 1972. .

2001 saw the transformation of the MCB's back patio into a modern College Center.

One Palace Road opened in 2002. The building houses the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the School of Social Work, the Career Education Center, and Technology.
In 2004, extensive renovation work began on Beatley Library and Lefavour Hall, including the demolition of the original two-story library building. Construction was completed in 2006 with the opening of the new Library building (photographed above from The Fenway).

2007 saw construction begin on a new addition to the Simmons Academic Campus. Scheculed to open in 2008, the building will house the School of Management, as well as offices and classroom space.
