New to RSS feeds? To use an RSS feed, you will need an RSS "reader" or aggregator. RSS aggregators allow you to view all the feeds you select in one place and it automatically retrieves updates.
Some aggregator software requires installation on your computer, while some aggregators are web browser-based. Some examples of free RSS aggregators are:
- Sage - a free RSS aggregator for Firefox
- Web-based Aggregators
- My Yahoo!
- Bloglines
- Google Desktop
- Some web browsers such as Firefox and Apple's Safari also offer a "live bookmark" feature for reading RSS feeds.
- Aggretors for Windows
- Aggregators for Mac OS X
- There are many more aggregators available. Click here for an extensive list.
