Note: Simmons ID required for building access after 8:30pm
Beginning Monday, Feb. 23, Simmons College has a new access policy for all buildings on its main academic campus at 300 The Fenway. All buildings will be locked at 8:30 p.m., and only those individuals with a valid Simmons ID will be able to enter after that time.
The Beatley Library will continue to maintain its regular hours of operation; however only patrons with a valid Simmons ID card will be able to enter the building after 8:30 p.m. Library patrons already in the building prior to 8:30 p.m. will have access until the library’s regular closing times.
These changes are being made to ensure a safe environment for Simmons faculty, staff, and students, while also providing reasonable access for others in the community, such as alumnae/i, visitors, Colleges of the Fenway members, and Fenway Library Consortium members, who visit and study at the college. For additional information about this policy, please contact the Simmons Campus Card Office at 617-521-2273 or fenwaycard@simmons.edu. Additional information regarding the new hours and access to the buildings can be found at my.simmons.edu/fenwaycard.

Electronic resources
While visiting the Library, you have access to all electronic
resources available on-site.
Many public libraries provide on-site and remote access to electronic resources. For a list of electronic resources from the Boston Public Library, for example, see http://www.bpl.org/electronic/index.htm. (Boston Public Library cards are available to all Massachusetts residents. See http://www.bpl.org/general/circulation/ecards.htm for more information.) Massachusetts residents can also use their public library cards to search a number of online databases available through the Massachusetts Library Information Network. Our reference staff can help you learn more about the services at your local public library.
