Access to Online Library Resources
When the Library server is down, you may encounter difficulties accessing Library resources. If you encounter any of these possible disruptions, see below for alternative access solutions:
- You are not be able to search the online catalog or access ereserves. You can use WorldCat (use link below) to see if we own a book or journal and get a call number.
- Links to readings embedded within Simmons elearning VISTA Search directly in a database for these readings.
- Bookmarks to databases and articles Follow the instructions for accessing databases below.
- ArticleNow links in databases Use the ArticleNow button to see a list of databases that include the article, but instead of clicking directly on the link - which will not work - get to the database using the list of databases below.

For database access from OFF CAMPUS,
- First go to http://remote.simmons.edu.
- Log in using your Simmons network login and password (not your email login).
- In the URL box in the middle of the page titled Websites, where it says Enter Web Address (URL) enter this: my.simmons.edu/library/no_proxy.shtml
