The College of Arts and Sciences

The Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) provides leadership in the areas of graduate and undergraduate curriculum, academic departments, academic support, Graduate Studies programs, faculty, budgets, curriculum development, and first-year leadership programs. The Dean also oversees The Office of the Dean for Student Life, Undergraduate Academic Advising, the Office of Graduate Studies Admission, the Institute for Leadership and Change, and the Writing Center.

The Graduate School of Library and Information Science

The Office of the Dean of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) provides leadership for the LIS graduate programs on the Boston and Mount Holyoke (GSLIS West) campuses. There is an associate dean who oversees curriculum development, as well as three assistant deans overseeing the areas of student services, technology, and admission and recruitment.

The School of Health Sciences

The Office of the Dean of the School of Health Sciences (SHS) has responsibility for all graduate programs in health care administration, nursing, nutrition, and physical therapy.. In consultation with department chairs, program directors, and faculty, the dean's office develops and implements policies and procedures regarding admissions, academic standing, and student requests and petitions. In addition, the dean's office works closely with the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) to coordinate curricula and to administer the undergraduate programs in nursing, nutrition, and physical therapy, and the doctoral program in health professions education.

The School of Management

The Office of the Dean of the School of Management (SOM) provides leadership in the areas of graduate and undergraduate management curricula and programs, MBA admissions, and career services. The dean is responsible for the undergraduate and graduate management departments, including faculty, budgets and curriculum development. Curricular and support services for the undergraduate management programs are coordinated closely with CAS. The dean also oversees the Center for Gender and Organizations, and Executive Education programs.
