The Alliance
The Alliance is a social and political organization for the Lesbian/bisecual/Transgender/Queer/Allied community at Simmons College. The Alliance provides a safe environment for the expression of human diversity, and respects confidentiality. We hope to provide entertainment, education, and outreach to the greater community.

Amnesty International
Amnesty International's mission is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination, within the context of its work to promote all human rights.

Asian Student Association (ASA)
Our Mission:

Best Buddies
Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization that pairs students with a peer with an intellectual disability for a mutually enriching one-to-one friendship. The Simmons College chapter functions to promote awareness of intellectual disabilities and integration of people with intellectual disabilities in hte community at large. Group events/activities bring all members together monthly for fun!!!

Black Students Organization (BSO)
Our unified 2007-2008 mission to one another, the Black Student Organization General Body, Simmons, and the greater commnity includes: Celebrating Black culture as we inform and educate the community; seek to broaden both ourselves and others by exposure; hold ourselves and others accountable in the spirit of improvement and community; strive for inclusion; seek to archive our experience and events; strave for radical change; productivity, creativity, and originality.

Campus Activities Board (CAB)
To provide a wide range of social, educational, and cultural activities for the Simmons Community and their guests.
The Campus Activities Board is the organization responsible for all-campus events and activities, including lectures, feature film series, performing arts, educational programming, block ticket sales, and special events. CAB also plans and sponsors special weekend trips. Each member of the Activities Board is responsible for her appointed area and for supporting and helping out with all CAB sponsored events.

Caribbean Culture Association
The Caribbean Culture Association's purpose is to bring cultural awareness to the Simmons and boston Community of the West Indian Heritage. Also, to allow the community to be involved in different atmospheres of the caribbean Culture. Activities can involve a variety of social gatherings, forums, and culinary experiences.

Chorale
Simmons Chorale is a vocal group that performs a wide variety of music styles. We sing songs in different languages by many composers from all time periods. Our holiday concert features Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's, African American, and winter music. Our spring concert consists of traditional choral music, jazz music, Broadway songs, and folk songs. Our group does not require auditions and welcomes any with the love of singing and music and the commitment to our three hours per week rehearsals. We also participate in social events as a group.

Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra
The Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra is open to students, faculty, staff, and alumni from the six colleges of the The Colleges of the Fenway Consortium. In some cases, individuals from other colleges may perform with the orchestra. The Colleges of the Fenway Orchestra performs music of lesser-known composers including minorities and women as well as music from the standard European orchestral tradition.

Dance Company
Simmons College Dance Company
The purpose of the dance company is to bring dance back to Simmons and to provide dancers with the opportunity to continue an important part of their lives while away at college. In addition, the purpose is to unify the Simmons Community through the physical activity and art expression of diverse dance. While we are dedicated to providing ongoing traditional forms of dance, we are also committed to introducing and experimenting with new, alternative, and less traditional kinds of dance.

Dix Scholars Association
The Dix Scholars Association (DSA) is a student-run social and community service organization for Dix Scholars, whose purpose is to connect Dix Scholars with each other as well as other Simmons College organizations, faculty, administrators and staff. The DSA provides you opportunities to meet other Dix Scholars, build lasting friendships and contribute to the Simmons Community, supplementing your Simmons education.

Feminist Union
To provide and organize events and activities promoting the discussion and activism of feminist issues and to meet regularly around these issues.
The feminist union (FU) serves as a forum for students to discuss, be involved with, and organize within feminism, radical activism, and any local or global issues that relate. Issues and topics focused on are decided by members, and the FU changes and adapts constantly, depending on time, members, issues, and the "state of the world". The FU is involved in activism and organizing outside of Simmons college, as well as in. The FU serves to provide the Simmons community with information, context, and an outlet for feminist activism, while also creating connections between activists/movements everywhere as well as Simmons college. The FU is open to everyone and anyone - we have a very broad definition of feminism and activism.
