Fall Orientation

Undergraduate Orientation will take place from Saturday, August 30, 2008 through Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Here is a brief overview of what will be covered during Orientation. Please note that all students regardless of whether or not they live on campus are expected to attend the Orientation events on each day of Orientation.

• International Student Program (note:  due to the mandatory regulations program, International students can move in on Wednesday, August 27 or Thursday, August 28).

Saturday, August 30, 2008

• First-Year and Transfer Resident student move-in (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
• Commuter Student Orientation meetings
• Opening Address, College Welcome, and Picnic
• Family Orientation
• Meeting with your Orientation Leader
• Residence Hall Meetings

Dix Scholars Orientation Program

Dix Scholars and their families are invited to join the other Orientation attendees for the Opening Address and College Welcome from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on the Residence Campus.

There will be a Dix Scholars Orientation  on Wedneday, August 13, 2008 and Wednesday, September 3, 2008.  Dix Scolars only need to attend one of these sessions.
