Parking & Transportation
Parking Information for Fall Move-In
Parking will be available for incoming students and their families on Saturday, August 30th in the Palace Road garage; access to this garage is off of Avenue Louis Pasteur. Limited parking will also available in the Winsor School parking lot, adjacent to the residence campus. Resident students will be directed to available parking after unloading their car.
Parking at both of these locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once these parking lots reach capacity, you will be directed to off-campus parking options. More information on these parking options can be found at: http://my.simmons.edu/services/business/parking/off-campus.shtml.
We suggest that Commuter Students plan to park in the Main College Building Parking lot prior to walking over to the Residence Campus for Orientation Check-in. Resident Students will be directed where to park after unloading their vehicles.
Parking
Parking at Simmons is currently limited while construction of a new underground garage and school of management building progresses. Since parking is a scarce resource, not only at Simmons but also in the Longwood Medical Area, we encourage the community to investigate and choose alternate commuting options whenever available, and we thank those already choosing alternative options.
During Fall Orientation move-in and during our Open Campus Days, limited parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for students and families. If you come to campus for one of the Open Campus Days, please tell the parking attendant that you are here for an Open Campus Day. Information regarding parking for Fall Orientation will be posted on this site at a later date. Additionally, information on nearby off-campus parking can be found on the Off Campus Parking Page.
Simmons College is committed to providing support services and reasonable accommodations to students and guests with identified disabilities. If you need special parking arrangements due to a disability, please contact us directly by calling 617-521-2429 or e-mailing orientation@simmons.edu.
