First-Year Experience Program
Simmons College's First-Year Experience (FYE) Seminar is designed to smooth the transition and improve the experience of incoming undergraduate students. FYE is a required, 9-week, non-credit course for all traditional first-year students designed to empower new students to discover, to communicate, and to develop talents, skills, and abilities in order to be a successful Simmons student. The First-Year Experience program also provides students with a chance to connect with a staff member and an upperclass student who serve as facilitators; these facilitators can become resources and role models for students during their time at Simmons.
