Student Leadership Selection Process

Thank you for your interest in the Student Leadership Selection Process. Student leaders serve as ambassadors to prospective, new, and current Simmons students, their families, and others within and beyond the Simmons community. Although specific responsibilities involved in each position are different, the main task of each position is to assist your Simmons peers and others throughout the Simmons community.

Applications for the 2008-2009 year are now available! If you have any questions about leadership positions in the meantime, please e-mail leadership@simmons.edu.

The Student Leadership Selection Process has been designed to select students for the following positions:

Residence Life

  • Resident Advisers
  • Summer Resident Advisers

Scott/Ross Center for Community service

  • After School Program at Simmons (Coordinator)
  • America Counts (Coordinator & Facilitator)
  • America Reads (Coordinator & Facilitator)
  • Beacon Academy (Coordinator)
  • Education Sparks (Coordinator, Director, & Facilitator)
  • Farragut After School Program (Coordinator & Facilitator)
  • Farragut After School Art Program (Facilitator)
