Campus Activities Board (CAB)

To provide a wide range of social, educational, and cultural activities for the Simmons Community and their guests.

The Campus Activities Board is the organization responsible for all-campus events and activities, including lectures, feature film series, performing arts, educational programming, block ticket sales, and special events. CAB also plans and sponsors special weekend trips. Each member of the Activities Board is responsible for her appointed area and for supporting and helping out with all CAB sponsored events.

Caribbean Culture Association (CCA)

The Caribbean Culture Association's purpose is to bring cultural awareness to the Simmons and boston Community of the West Indian Heritage. Feminist Union

To provide and organize events and activities promoting the discussion and activism of feminist issues and to meet regularly around these issues.

The feminist union (FU) serves as a forum for students to discuss, be involved with, and organize within feminism, radical activism, and any local or global issues that relate. Issues and topics focused on are decided by members, and the FU changes and adapts constantly, depending on time, members, issues, and the "state of the world". The FU is involved in activism and organizing outside of Simmons college, as well as in. The FU serves to provide the Simmons community with information, context, and an outlet for feminist activism, while also creating connections between activists/movements everywhere as well as Simmons college. The FU is open to everyone and anyone - we have a very broad definition of feminism and activism.

International Multicultural Student Association

The International Multicultural Student Association strives to promote diversity throughout the college by educating the community about important multicultural issues that might not be well known across the campus but that do affect all of us in one way or another. Model United Nations

The National Model United Nations is to Provde an Opportunity to learn about international roganization, focusing specifically on the United Nations. Students participate in lectures, research, and discussion in preparation for varioius local, regional, and national programs. The group also provides political awareness to the Simmons community at large, trhough lectures and events including United Nations Awareness Week. One of the goals of the Simmons chapter of the Model UN is to educate our community on today's foreign affairs, as well as to promote our already strong international ties.

The purpose of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is to educate those interested in public relations and to gain PR and event planning experience. PRSSA is open to students of all majors who are interested in learning valuable communication skills.

Simmons Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian community affiliated with Real Life Boston and Campus Crusade for Crhist International. We host weekly life groups, attend events on and off campus, and host events that help further our mission on campus.
