Welcome to the Simmons family! We are delighted that your student has decided to attend the College and join the community this year. We know that you will continue to play an important role in your student's education, and we are committed to providing you with the resources and information you need to support her endeavors.

We welcome parents, guardians, and others to attend the Family Orientation program from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 or Friday, June 22.  Please click here to download the Undergraduate Orientation schedule, where you will find more details about the Family Orientation.  At Family Orientation, you will learn about the academic program, campus services, and leadership opportunities available to your student. Faculty, staff and student Orientation Leaders will be present throughout the program to meet with you and answer your questions.

The Family Orientation will include the following:

  • Panel presentations by Academic and Student Life Administrators
  • Presentation by Student Financial Services Staff
  • Panel presentation by Simmons parents, including members of Parent's Council
  • Panel representing Residence Life, Public Safety, Technology, and Health and Counseling Services
  • College Resource Fair - an opportunity to view departmental displays to gather more information about Simmons resources
