Registration and Housing Information

To maximize the full Simmons student experience, all students stay on campus during Summer Orientation. Residence hall rooms and roommates will be assigned to all students attending June Orientation. To accommodate all orientation attendees, single rooms are not assigned. Rooms are equipped with all necessary linens and towels. Community restrooms and shower facilities are located on each floor.

What to Bring

  • Government-issued Photo ID, such as a passport or a driver's licence (this will allow you to get your picture taken to be issued a Simmons ID in the fall)
  • $15-$20 in spending money to cover the cost of transportation for the Boston tours and other incidental expenses.
  • Alarm Clock to wake up on time for Day Two
  • Comfortable clothes and walking shoes for the tours
  • Number 2 pencils to take your exams
  • A camera to capture the memories
  • Your questions and enthusiasm
  • "Chart Your Courses" Academic Workbook to register for classes (You should receive this the week before Orientation)
  • Toiletries (rooms will already include linens, blanket, towels, pillows and soap)
  • Flip-flops or similar "shower shoes"
