Java City

Bartol Hall, the residence campus dining hall, serves over 1500 students daily. Residence students receive meals through their meal plan, while commuter students and employees may also eat at Bartol by paying with their FenwayCard, cash, debit, or credit.

Dining Stations

Bartol's variety can be overwhelming, which is why we ask that students walk around to every station to make an educated menu decision. We encourage you to take one course at a time, returning later to different stations for additional courses. At our sizzling Sauté Station named Center Stage, for example, you can pick from garden fresh vegetables, grains, proteins and homemade sauces that our chefs' cook-to-order. Here you'll find student favorites like chicken and cheese quesadillas or Asian noodle bowls. Off to the side of Center Stage is where you'll find the very popular Spotlight Station. Students tend to congregate around this area to sip smoothies and chat while one of our chefs prepares a made-to-order salad or vegetarian wrap. Bartol's salad bar is full of choices to help make salad more interesting. Choose from over 40 delicious options to make salad your entrée or side. The pasta station we call al Pomodoro features a daily cooked-to-order special and can be tailored to meet your taste buds. Simply ask the chef to prepare it how you like and voila! Chicken scampi over angel hair pasta or pesto cream bow ties are made for you. Visit the al Pomodorro where our gourmet pizza dough is hand stretched and topped with a variety of savory meats and vegetables. This year look for wheat crust and vegan pizza. Another student favorite, located next to the Pizza/Pasta area, is our Granary. Here you'll find an extensive vegan and vegetarian menu. Most students return for the mushroom and radicchio risotto or the vegetarian spring roll. Running off to class? Swing by Pilgrim's Deli where we offer a variety of fresh breads, meats, cheeses, vegetables and salads, as well as a daily specialty sandwich. Are you missing Mom's cooking? Look no further than Bartol's home-style entrée line, called 3 Squared, where we feature "kicked-up"delights like maple glazed salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. For those trying to eat healthy this hot line also offers two cooked vegetables, one steamed and one sautéed, at every meal.
