Meal Plans

Spring Meal Plan Change Deadline

To change your meal plan, please complete a meal plan change form at Bartol Hall or print out the form and drop it off at the Campus Card Office in MCB E007 by Friday, February 8. No changes may be made after February 8.

Resident Student Meal Plans

Available Meal Plans

  • 19 Meals/week and $50 in Meal Plan Points with 5 guest meals
  • 14 Meals/week and $90 in Meal Plan Points with 5 guest meals 
  • 10 Meals/week and $130 in Meal Plan Points with 5 guest meals
  • 7 Meals/week and $170 in Meal Plan Points with 5 guest meals
  • 100 Meals/semester and $150 in Meal Plan Points with 30 guest meals

Each meal plan also receives $20 in Special Use Points which may be redeemed at food service locations, the bookstore, copiers, vending, and laundry machines! Meal Plan Points may be redeemed at Dining Services locations: Bartol Hall, Quadside Cafe, Fens Café, Myers Café, and Java City.

Meal Plan Periods

Mondays - Friday
Breakfast: opening - 10:44am
Lunch: 10:45am - 4:14pm
Dinner: 4:15pm - closing

Saturday and Sunday
Brunch: 8:00am - 10:59am
Lunch: 11:00am - 2:00pm
Dinner: 4:30pm - closing

Please note that normally only one meal may be redeemed per meal period. You may use a guest meal for a second meal during a meal period and you may use that guest meal for yourself. For the 100 meals plan, multiple meals may be taken per meal period.

Meal Plan Notes

Unused Meal Plan Points and Special Use Points carry over from the fall semester to the spring semester, as long as you remain a resident student. Unused meals do not carry over from week to week or from the Fall semester to the Spring semester. Unused guest meals do not carry over to the Spring semester. Meal plans and unused points expire if a student ceases being a resident student. All unused points expire at the end of the spring semester and are non-refundable.

Resident Student Meal Plan Changes

Meal plans may only be changed during the first two weeks of a semester. The deadline for changing meal plans for the Spring 2008 semester is Friday, February 8. To change your meal plan, please complete a form at Bartol Hall or print out the meal plan change form and drop it off at the Campus Card Office in MCB E007 by February 8. No changes may be made after that date.

Non-Resident Dining Plans

Commuter students, students living in off-campus dorms, and faculty and staff have the following meal plans available for purchase:

  • 30 individual meals with $50 in Meal Plan Points:   $180
  • 20 individual meals with $350 in Meal Plan Points: $430
  • 10 individual meals with $400 in Meal Plan Points: $430

Meals can be redeemed at Bartol Hall or at the Fens Café. At Bartol Hall, a meal provides entry to the all-you-care-to-eat food stations. At Fens Café, a meal provides $5.50 worth of credit toward your purchase. Meal Plan Points may be redeemed at any Dining Services location on campus.

The meals and points included in these plans are a lump sum and do not expire until you graduate or withdraw from Simmons. To purchase a non-resident meal plan, please visit the Campus Card Office at MCB E007 or complete our mail and fax order form.
