Your Simmons ID

Did you know?
Did you know that your new Simmons ID works with our Campus Card system? You can set up a Fenway Cash account and make cashless transactions at the Fens, bookstore, vending machines, and more!

Obtaining Your Simmons ID
All Simmons College students, faculty and staff should go to the Campus Card Office in the lower level of the Main Campus Building (E-007) to obtain an ID card. Your ID will be activated for building access. If you experience any problems with building access, contact the Public Safety Office at 617-521-2289.

If you lose your ID
Should you lose your ID, notify the Campus Card Office immediately at 617-521-2273 (during business hours) or 617-521-1112 (24 hours per day/365 days per year), and your card will be deactivated. You may obtain a replacement card during business hours. There is a $10.00 fee to replace a lost, stolen, or misplaced card.

If you find your card after reporting it lost, you must present it in person to the Campus Card Office to have it reactivated.

Validating your ID
Each semester for students and each year for faculty and staff members, a new validation sticker will be mailed to you after you have cleared your account with Student Financial Services. Affix this sticker to the back of your ID card to validate your card for the coming academic period. Cards without current validation stickers may not be honored at the parking lot, Sports Center, Library or other services.

Convenience copiers at the Copy Center and around campus (for faculty and staff use only)
There are copiers available at the Copy Center and other locations throughout the campus for faculty, staff and departmental use. An authorization form should be completed and signed by your department head in order for you to use these copiers. The forms are available in C-219. Your ID number along with the authorized budget number will be entered into the copier system. After the entry is made, you may use any of these copiers. Just swipe your card and enter your department's 7-digit budget number.

If you should experience any difficulty using your card in the Copy Center, ask for assistance. If the problem cannot be fixed, you may be asked to go to the Campus Card Office or Business Affairs to correct the problem.

The Campus Card System
Students, faculty and staff may enjoy the benefits of the Campus Card system with their Simmons ID Card. By pre-paying for services, you may use your ID card in place of cash, checks and credit cards on campus. Simply set up a Fenway Cash account, add Fenway Cash, and swipe your card to pay for items at the Fens Café, Java City, Quadside Café and Convenience, Myers Cafe, the Bookstore, vending machines, laundry machines, public copiers, the Copy Center and more.
