Students Parking
Parking on the Simmons main campus is currently limited during construction of the new School of Management building and underground garage. As the individual garage levels are opened, the availability of parking permits will improve.
Commuting Alternatives
Simmons College is located in an area with extensive public transportation options including trolleys, trains, commuter rail, and buses. To encourage public transit use, student are eligible for significant discounts through our semester MBTA pass program. Walking, biking, and carpooling are some other commuter alternatives available.
Driving
Daytime Full-Time Parking: Spring semester permits are available and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible students who submit complete applications. The application is available online.
Day Part-Time Parking: Parking is now available for daytime classes beginning before 5:30pm. To order, please visit our office or complete a mail/fax order application.
Evening Parking: Parking is available during the fall and spring semester for classes beginning at 5:30pm or after. To order, please visit our office or complete a mail/fax order application.
Accessible Parking: Information about parking for students with disabilities is available on our accessible parking page.
Off-Campus Parking: Parking is available at a number of private garages in the area, some charging hourly rates and others charging day rates. For those parking after 3:30pm on weekdays or any time on weekends, the MASCO Garage provides a $5 flat rate. Simmons College recognizes the inconvenience caused by the loss of the parking lot due to construction and we are committed to helping commuters find alternatives to driving. Please review the parking website for commuting options and feel free to contact the Campus Card Office with any questions.
