Off-Campus Career Event: Innovation Works - How Young Entrepreneurs Thrive in a Bad Economy
Posted: September 21, 2009
Sep 30 at 6:30-8pm
Ned Devine's, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Quincy Market Building
Innovation Works: How Young Entrepreneurs Thrive in a Bad Economy will examine how some young entrepreneurs have been successful in the current economy. In today's economy, many businesses are suffering. Many…but not all. They say necessity breeds innovation, and several Boston-based entrepreneurs have found this to be true. Innovation Works will discuss how young, local entrepreneurs find success in this uncertain economy.
Panelists include Morgan First (Marketing and Communications Director, The Second Glass), Terry Lozoff (President and Co-Founder, Street Attack), and Elizabeth Thornton (Chief Diversity Officer and Lecturer in Entrepreneurship, Babson College). Panel moderated by Scott Kirsner (The Boston Globe).
A RealTalk event. RealTalk is generously sponsored by: State Street Corporation and Zipcar
