Career Counseling, Workshops, and Special Events
Career counseling, career workshops, and special career events are valuable resources offered by the CEC. One-on-one meetings with the Career Education staff provides personal advice to help you launch the career that's right for you. Workshops and career events can provide valuable career information and help build job search skills. Take advantage of these valuable opportunities and learn more on the Career Counseling page and the Events page.
Campus Recruiting
Throughout the year, a wide variety of employers are invited on campus to recruit Simmons students for volunteer, internship, and permanent hire positions. Employers have an opportunity to present their job openings and to explain their organizational and benefit structures. While on-campus, they also visit classrooms, conduct interviews, and collect resumes. In addition, employers post their job openings and company information on CareerLink.
Resources for Faculty
In addition to being a resource for students, the Career Education Center (CEC) is a resource for faculty. The CEC uses a comprehensive Five Step Career Development Model with a career curriculum that helps students acquire knowledge of self, career paths, and academic and career opportunities.
Learn more about how the CEC partners with faculty to help students develop the professional skills and knowledge to make informed career decisions:
