Java City, our coffee kiosk and frequent student hangout, is found in the College Center in Simmons' Main College Building. The intense aroma of freshly brewed coffee upon entering Java City is why most people flock to this enticing locale, but it is the comprehensive espresso and brewed coffee menu combined with artisan pastries and freshly prepared sandwiches and salads. We offer the ideal combination of specialty coffees and fresh-baked goods to provide our customers with the ultimate café indulgences.
The Java City area is complete with state-of-the-art iMac computers, access to wireless Internet, spacious couch and table seating and large surrounding windows that provide natural lighting. It is not uncommon for students, faculty, and staff to meet in the café for lunch, study groups, or impromptu class discussions.
