Registration Guidelines for Summer 2008

Non-attendance in a class does not constitute withdrawal.

Add a Course
Students may register for a course up until the first meeting of the class.
Drop a Course
For six to nine week courses:

| Summer Session One | |
| 5/23/08 | Last day to drop a course without receiving a grade of "W." |
| 5/30/08 | Last day to drop a course. A grade of "W" will be assigned after 5/23/08.* |
| After 5/30/08 | Undergraduate students must request approval from the Administrative Board. Complete a Petition to the Administrative Board and an add/drop form, including signatures of your instructor and advisor. Return the signed forms to the Registrar's Office in C-210. |
| Graduate students must obtain instructor and advisor/program director signatures on an add/drop form - OR - Graduate students must have their instructor and advisor / program director email consent@simmons.edu. | |
| Summer Session Two | |
| 7/11/08 | Last day to drop a course without receiving a grade of "W." |
| 7/18/08 | Last day to drop a course. A grade of "W" will be assigned after 7/11/08.* |
| After 7/18/08 | Undergraduate students must request approval from the Administrative Board. Complete a Petition to the Administrative Board and an add/drop form, including signatures of your instructor and advisor. Return the signed forms to the Registrar's Office in C-210. |

For weekend courses:

* Please Note:
- All GSLIS Summer Courses: Last day to drop without receiving a grade of "W" is 06/20/08.
- GSLIS students need advisor consent ONLY to drop a course after 6/20/08. Please have your advisor sign an add/drop form or email us at consent@simmons.edu.
- All SSW are permitted to drop a course up until the last class meeting, but will receive a "W" grade.
