Graduate/Dix Housing

New Graduate & Dix Scholar HousingGraduate and Dix Scholar housing is very limited on the residence campus.  If you are interested in obtaining Graduate or Dix scholar housing for 2008-2009 we recommend you contact our office as soon as possible to be placed on the waitlist.  A deposit of $250 is necessary to secure a room.  Rooms will be filled in the date order from when we received the deposit.  Send in your $250 check with a Grad/Dix housing application (found on the forms and downloads page) to 300 The Fenway , Boston, MA 02215.

Costs listed are set by Student Financial Services and can be met via check, money order, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. Cash can be accepted only at the Cashier window. Please call SFS at 617-521-2001 with questions.

Returning Graduate & Dix Scholar Housing

North Hall will continue to be the graduate and Dix Scholar students' hall. The 5th floor of South Hall will be reserved for graduate students and Dix Scholars to accommodate the overflow.
 
Back Bay Manor - New housing option!
A new housing option has just arisen that we are offering our graduate students who are on our housing waitlist and students currently housed in North.  Simmons currently leases several apartments at Back Bay Manor, an apartment complex located ¼ mile from the Main Campus Building. These fully furnished apartments are set up as four person suites. You would be living in a double room with a roommate.  However, as it is an apartment style living, you would have your own kitchen, living space, balcony, and 1 ½ baths.  For a complete list of amenities, pictures, and a link to the Back Bay Manor website with a virtual tour of a model apartment please visit our affiliate housing page.
If you are interested in living in one of these apartments, please email us ASAP. We will be leasing the apartments based on expressed interest and in deposit order.

About North Hall
North was renovated in 2000 and features:
  • All single rooms
  • Ethernet and cable access in each room
  • A computer lab in the basement
  • A spacious living room and full kitchen
  • The building has five floors. The top two floors are single sex female floors.  
  • All other floors are co-ed with shared bathrooms.  
  • North does not have an elevator.
