The Wellness Community
South Hall (14) is a community that supports and promotes a healthy, balanced lifestyle, an ongoing process that is different for each individual. Please visit the returning student housing selection page for quotes from students who have lived in the community!
Quiet Floor
Located in Simmons Hall (6) on the Pilgrim Rd. wing of the first floor. The quiet floor is designed for students who prefer a quiet atmosphere, this floor generally maintains quiet for sixteen hours per day. Floor members decide the specific hours.
Smoke Free Living
In a continuing effort to improve the health of the members of our community and in line with local and national efforts to improve the quality of life, all residence halls are entirely smoke-free.
Those smoking outside must be at least 50 feet from the residence hall. Smoking in doorways and covered walkways is not permissible.
The College is happy to be able to assist students who wish to stop smoking with cessation tools available through the Health Center and Health Education department.
