Jessica Faulk
Interim Director of Residence Life
Jessica Faulk is the Interim Director of Residence Life. With over seven years professional experience in Student Affairs, Jess has worked in a variety of residential communities. Before coming to Boston, Jess worked at Bowling Green State University, Heidelberg College, and University of California, Santa Barbara . Her interests include women's studies, LGBT issues, and diversity education. In her spare time you might find Jess rollerblading down the Charles River trail or designing a website.
Jennifer Doebler
Assistant Director of Residence Life and RD Beacon Street
Jennifer Doebler comes to Simmons from being a Resident Director on the Spring 2006 voyage of the Semester At Sea program. She has worked at the Leysin American School in Switzerland, the University of Redlands, and Penn State University in various teaching and residential life capacities. As an Assistant Director of Residence Life, Jennifer works towards student and staff development through creating training modules and opportunities for dialogue and exchange. As a Resident Director, Jennifer oversees the safety, wellness, and community development of the women in Beacon Street. She holds an M.A. in Higher Education and a B.S. in Secondary Education: English. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, sewing, and outdoor pursuits. Aimee Belanger
RD Morse Hall
Aimee Belanger received her BFA from Massachusetts College of Art, and thus feels deeply connected to the Colleges of the Fenway community. She also studied at Glasgow School of Art in Scotland and is interested in assisting students pursuing a study abroad experience. Before coming to Simmons, Aimee worked as a Director at Exploration Summer Programs where she lived with, taught, and programmed for middle school-aged students. She is excited to be here at Simmons, especially in Morse Hall, which is home to a lively and enthusiastic group of women. Aimee is also a working artist who paints in The Distillery Studios in South Boston, and she exhibits her work locally. She also enjoys biking, international travel, live music, and contemporary art.
Melissa Bert
RD Arnold and North Halls
Melissa Bert is a native Californian who has worked for the past decade in undergraduate admissions, student housing, and academic advising. In 2002, she completed her master's degree in Higher Education at Harvard University, where she is currently a third-year doctoral student. Her research interests include the impact of financial aid programs on access to higher education for underserved students and evaluating outcomes for NCAA student-athletes. In her free time she enjoys training for triathlons, exploring Boston, and planning new trips.
Aliza Greenberg
RD Simmons Hall
Aliza (Liz) Greenberg can usually be found either in her office in Simmons Hall, where she serves as the Simmons Hall Resident Director, or facilitating her FYE class over on the Simmons Main Campus. Prior to joining the Simmons staff, Liz has worked as an Area Coordinator at Cabrini College (located outside of Philly), as a Graduate Intern/Advisor for the Student Development and Leadership Activities Office at Columbia University, and as an On-Site Manager for luxury apartments in NYC. Liz holds her A.A.S. in General Studies from Suffolk Community College, her B.S. in Advertising from Suffolk University and her M.A. in Higher and Post-Secondary Education/Organization and Leadership from Columbia University. Liz's interests include: creating fun activities and opportunities for residents, walking around outdoor markets, writing, sketching, her new ballet, karate and RAD classes, and little known pop culture facts.
Carolyn Ward
RD Dix Hall
Carolyn Ward is excited to join the Residential Life staff of Simmons College after recently earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in Psychology and International Studies. While being a Resident Director will be her main focus, Carolyn will also be working towards a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration at Boston College. She has made Boston her new home after moving from Park City, Utah many years ago. Although she still misses the mountains, Carolyn loves the small metropolis Boston boasts and the collegiate feeling no other city can offer. In her spare time, you can find Carolyn on the soccer field or playing a board game.
