Employment
Federal Work-Study Program (FWS)
This federally funded program provides part-time employment for students with demonstrated financial need. Students with FWS eligibility are encouraged to use their eligibility in a community services setting. All students with FWS eligibility are contacted over the summer by the Career Education Center with information explaining the job application process as a whole and the specific on-campus and community service opportunites available.
Part-time General Employment
For students who have not been awarded federal work-study funds, there are still many other work opportunities within the Simmons Community. The College offers general employment, which is funded by the college to provide jobs both on- and off-campus. General employment is available to students regardless of financial need.
