Residence Campus network issues: just North and Evans left

Technology believes that the network issues on the residence campus have been resolved, with the exception of North and Evans Halls.
Network equipment will be replaced in North and Evans between 1 pm and 4 pm on Friday, April 29. During that time, computers in those buildings will lose Internet/network connectivity; a group of computers will lose connectivity for about an hour, and then another group will be down for an hour, and so forth.
When your computer loses connectivity, you may still use the computer safely, you will just be without Internet access (no email, no IM, no web browser).
If you are using a lab computer between 1 pm and 4 pm, be sure to save your file onto a USB flash storage device or some other local medium (not the file server). You will not be able to print from a lab computer. During the outage, if you have not already logged in, you will be unable to log into a lab computer.
