We are pleased to announce that the technology in three Palace Road rooms has been upgraded as part of Technology’s plan to make technology more available in classrooms. P406, P410, and P415 have been retrofitted with a brand new podium that includes a built-in Windows computer, DVD/VCR player, and touch-panel control system.
The touch panels and functionality of these rooms are different from other classrooms in the Palace Road building, which include laser disc players and sound recording/playback systems. P406, P410, and P415 operate identically to other “retrofit” rooms on campus, such as C104, L501a, and S410.
Faculty and staff who would like to schedule training about how to use the technology in these rooms (or any others on campus), or who would like assistance at the beginning of a class: please contact Media Services at 617-521-2765.
