We have a variety of student positions open. Working in Technology will provide you with opportunities to learn new technology. Work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment while gaining excellent career experience! Students receive ongoing training specific to each position. Customer service skills are a requirement of all positions.

Application Support Specialists

  • Responsibilities include: staffing the Information Commons Technology Desk on the 2nd floor of the Library, and helping people use software and print.
  • Please pick up an application form from the Technology Desk and return it to L303.
  • Email steph.simard@simmons.edu with questions.

Media Assistants

  • Responsibilities might include: setting up and delivering media equipment to classrooms and for events; checking out videos, cameras, etc., to community members; or staffing the Language Lab.
  • Please come by Palace Road P108 to complete an application form, or email media@simmons.edu for more information.

Help Desk Support Specialist

  • Responsibilities include: providing on-site, telephone, and email desktop technical support to the Simmons community.
  • Required: Mac or Windows troubleshooting/support experience.
