Have you changed your Simmons email/WebCT/SOAR password from the default? If not, you are placing Simmons systems and data, and the security of your own personal information at risk!
When you enter your username and password to access a system, such as your email account, or your Simmons computer, you are verifying that you are who you say you are. It is important to make sure that your Simmons passwords are secure.
For an explanation of password security and advice about choosing a good password, please see: http://my.simmons.edu/technology/helpdesk/antivirus/passwords.shtml
For information about your Simmons username and which of your passwords is for which system, please see: http://my.simmons.edu/technology/helpdesk/username-password.shtml
If you do not change your email/WebCT/SOAR password from the default password you were first given, you will receive an automated email message at the end of the month. Receiving this email means that your account poses a security threat to both Simmons system and data, and to your personal information: please change your common password immediately!
