Meeting Maker proxy bug

This message is only of concern to faculty and staff using the Simmons Meeting Maker system are sharing their calendars or viewing other people's calendars using the "proxy" function.
Meeting Maker has discovered a bug that, in some cases, neglects to display all calendar information when viewing someone's calendar through a proxy. That is, if the calendar owner creates a recurring meeting, and then changes any of the meetings in that sequence of meetings (e.g. moves the time of one of the occurrences), people who proxy to that calendar may not see all of the recurring meetings. This may result in the person who proxies to the calendar creating meetings that conflict with what the calendar owner already has scheduled.
Meeting Maker plans to release an update to the software that will fix this issue in the next month or two. If you notice this problem, or any others with Meeting Maker for that matter, please contact the Help Desk (617-521-2222, option 8).
