The Technology Governance committee invites you to participate in a feedback session on Technology at Simmons. We will be working with a higher education technology consultant to prepare the next version of the College's Technology Strategic Plan, and we would like input from the community at the early stages of this process. We are delighted that Bill Brennan, who helped in the creation of Simmons's original technology plan in 1999, and in the 2001 revision, will again be assisting us.

Bill will be on campus Dec 13th and 14th for one hour meetings with small groups from across the institution (faculty, staff, graduate/undergraduate students, etc). In addition, we have one open session that anyone may attend: Wed Dec 14 from 3:30-4:30 in C-104

The purpose of these meetings will be to review the on-campus perception of the current state of technology by identifying: perceived strengths and gaps, the degree to which technology is advancing the College's overall strategic efforts, and the degree to which members of the community feel "connected" to technology planning and decision-making. Bill is also interested in hearing your suggestions for the three to five top technology priorities/initiatives for Simmons during the next three years.

Please rsvp to rachel.johnson2@simmons.edu if you plan to attend Wed Dec 14 from 3:30-4:30 in C-104.
