On Wednesday 1/18/2006 @ 5am, critical security system maintenance will be performed on several Technology servers which will result in some services being unavailable during a one hour period. These services include:
- Windows File Services (your User, Student, and Dept folders)
- Printing Services for Faculty and Staff office computers
- Printing with CSPrint in Library and Labs
- The Student Employment website, cash.simmons.edu
- Cumulus
- Keyserved installations of QuarkExpress
- The online Inter-Library Loan application
- SOAR
- Access to stored email
- The Sophos Puremessage Web Console
It is expected that these services will be down for approximately a 5 minutes each. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If there is some reason that any of these services should not be down during this time period, please contact the Help Desk at x2222.
