Make your media requests for spring semester now.
This is another reminder to plan your media needs for spring semester. Please use the online request forms so that Media Services can accurately track and fulfill your requests. We can guarantee delivery and support for the first week of classes for requests received by January 6th. Even if you do not require assistance with technology built into your classroom, please fill out a request form if you intend to use a computer or a/v equipment; that way if the built-in equipment fails, we will know to deliver an alternative for your class.
Below please find information about the 3 forms faculty and staff will find most useful at this time of year:
Media/Equipment For One or More Dates. Please use this form to request equipment and non-print media (including videos and DVDs) for one or more dates. Please use one form per course.
Semester Long Equipment Request. Please use this form to request equipment and non-print media (including videos and DVDs) for every session of one class for the entire semester. If you expect to use media in your class in almost every class, please use this form.
Place Non-Print Media on Reserve. Please use this form to place videotapes, DVDs, or other non-print media on reserve. Reserves are housed in the Language Lab (C311), where students may watch videos, listen to audio programs, etc.
Within 5 business days, you will receive confirmation of your request. Remember, the earlier we know what you need, the better and more reliable service we can provide.
If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 617-521-2765.
Thanks,
-Technology Media Services
