This is an alert from Technology at Simmons College.
This message is only for people using a Simmons computer that is running Windows.
A black "DOS" window is likely to appear on your desktop sometime after you boot your computer. Please leave the black window open. It should disappear after about 30 seconds. If it does not, please call the Help Desk at 617-521-2222, option 8.
The appearance of this window is due to a configuration change on the Sophos Anti-Virus server. Unfortunately, the vendor did not indicate this modification would result in anything that users would notice.
