This is an alert from Technology at Simmons College.
This message is only for people using a Simmons computer that is running Windows.
A black "DOS" window is likely to appear on your desktop sometime after 4pm today, February 10, 2006 . Please leave the black window open. It should disappear after about 30 seconds. If it does not, please call the Help Desk at 617-521-2222, option 8.
The appearance of this window is due to a configuration change on the Sophos Anti-Virus server. Unfortunately, the vendor did not indicate this modification would result in anything that users would notice.
