Macintosh OS X.4 (Tiger) users: do not download update

This is an important message for Macintosh users with computers running OS X.4 (a.k.a. Tiger). Faculty and staff using Simmons Macintosh computers can ignore this message, unless they have administrative rights to their computers.
Please do not download and install two recent updates:
- OS X 10.4.7 (Tiger, update 7)
- Java J2SE 5.0 Release 4
Unfortunately, these updates are not compatible with the Simmons course management system, WebCT Vista. If you install these updates, you will not be able to access your courses using WebCT Vista. We will send another notification when our testing indicates it is safe to install these updates.
