Meeting Maker: Calendar Sharing
Proxy: sharing your calendar or seeing/changing someone else's
1. Letting someone else look at your calendar: sharing your calendar
- Select Proxy/Share Calendar
- Select the users with whom you wish to share your calendar
- a. Click Read/Write and the user
- can make changes to your calendar, including sending meeting proposals on your behalf, but cannot read items marked "private"
- can see your Favorites list and invite individuals and groups on your list to meetings on your behalf, but cannot edit your Favorites list
- can make changes to your To Do List, but cannot read To Do items marked "private"
- can see, use (i.e. send email or Meeting Maker proposals to) and make changes to your Address Book
b. click Read-Only and the user- can view your calendar, but cannot view items marked "private," and cannot make changes to your calendar
- cannot view or use your Favorites list
- can view your To Do List, but cannot view items marked "private," and cannot make changes to your To Do List
- can view and sort your Address Book, but cannot edit, send email to, or invite guests from your Address Book
- Click OK
- To access the the calendar of someone who has designated you as their proxy, choose Proxy/More Proxies. If you want this calendar to appear in your Proxy menu:
- Choose Proxy/Edit Favorite Proxies
- Select the user from the list of Available Proxies, and click Add >>
- Click OK
- To move among calendars, click to activate each window, or use the Window menu.
- To see the contents of multiple calendars combined in one calendar:
- Choose your calendar window (i.e. Window/your name/Daily View)
- Choose Proxy/Show in Calendar
- Select calendars you want to display together from the list of Available Proxies, then OK.
- To go back to seeing just the contents of your own calendar, choose Proxy/Remove All from Calendar
