General Access Computing and Labs
Computers for You, All Over Campus
Throughout campus you will find computer Express Web Stations, and many locations with wired and wireless network access. There are computers with software you need to complete your coursework in two major general access computing spaces:
Download iTunes (free from Apple), and check out our new audio podcasts about the technology and services available to you throughout campus. After you follow the link, your browser may prompt you to "launch iTunes," and then you'll arrive at Simmons iTunesU.
Labs (Computer Classrooms)
Four classrooms on campus are outfitted as labs with computers for every student, and several graduate schools and undergraduate departments operate their own computer labs for special work related to their disciplines. More about Technology Computer Labs. More about Departmental Computer Labs.
Printing
Except for Express Web Stations, you may print from any general access, Technology Lab, or departmental lab computer. Most of these locations use the pay for print system: you need to use your Fenway Card in order to print. See Printing Policy and Tips for more information.
