Library L003

L003 is one of two dual platform classrooms (see also S150). It contains 22 Windows XP, 22 Mac OS X computers for students, each loaded with Simmons software and other applications requested by faculty. The instructor's station is equipped with a Windows XP and a Mac OS X computer (each loaded with Simmons software and other applications requested by faculty) access to the MRS system and Internet, a DVD/VHS player, auxilliary video inputs (e.g. for a laptop or document camera), Direct TV, overhead projector, video data projector, and a screen. There is a laser printer using the pay-for-print system.

Technology works closely with instructors to ensure that all software needed for classes or workshops is on the computers. Please complete a Software Installation Request Form to have software installed on the instructor's station or student workstations in this room.
