Science Center S150

S150 is one of two dual-platform computer classrooms on campus (see also L003). S150 contains 13 Windows XP and 13 Mac OS X computers for students, each loaded with Simmons software and other applications requested by faculty. The instructor's station is equipped with a Windows XP and a Mac OS X computer (each loaded with Simmons software and other applications requested by faculty), access to the MRS system, Direct TV, and Internet, an overhead projector, video data projector and a screen. There is a laser printer using the pay-for-print system.

Technology works closely with instructors to ensure that all software needed for classes or workshops is on the computers. Please complete a Software Installation Request Form to have software installed on the instructor' s station or student workstations in this room.

This facility is also used by Art & Music as its photo lab and contains discipline specific hardware and accompanying software.
