Media Services supports academic technology use in the classroom, including the instructor's computer workstation, and audio-visual hardware and software. Media Services staff deliver mobile technology throughout Simmons, particularly for classrooms and special events. Media Services manages a circulating collection of audio, video, and photography equipment (e.g. digital cameras, mini-DV camcorders, 35mm cameras, and portable LCD projectors). Media Services operates the campus-wide media retrieval system (MRS) that includes the campus announcements message display system (MDS) appearing on monitors posted around campus.
