Technology Built Into Event Spaces

The rooms listed below are used primarily for meetings and events. Classrooms are also used for events. Please check Classrooms & Labs to see what equipment has been permanently installed in classrooms. Knowing what is in each room will help you determine what room you would like to request and what auxiliary equipment you may need to request. Please make all room reservations by calling Conferences and Special Events at 617-521-2158.

There are twelve event spaces that include built-in technology.
*Indicates that Media Services staff set-up assistance is needed in order to use that specific piece of equipment.  If a set-up is needed, a media equipment request must be submitted no fewer than 7 days before your event.

Kotzen Meeting Center & Terrace (Library L001/L002)
The following describes the functionality of these rooms when combined to form one room. When used separately, each room has a standard podium with a Windows computer, Internet connectivity, DVD/VHS player, MRS Video, auxilliary video inputs (e.g. for a laptop or document camera), and Direct TV.

If the room is divided (Kotzen A and B), each room has a standard podium with a Windows computer, Internet connectivity, DVD/VHS player, MRS video, auxilliary video inputs (e.g. for a laptop or document camera), and Direct TV.

If you plan to use any media equipment in Kotzen B (L002), you must submit a media equipment request no fewer than 7 days before your event or class, because the podium is not permanently housed in the room.
